Origin
Five late-ripening hillside vineyards
Vinification
33% whole cluster; 14-17 day cuvaisons
Aging

Vineyards
  • 29% Luminous Hills, 25% Cortell-Rose and 25% Cherry Grove.
  • 18% Nysa and 3% Stardance complete the blend.
  • Small, organically farmed hillside sites tucked against forests.
  • Late-ripening locations preserve energy through a warm, dry season.
Vinification
  • 33% whole cluster in the final blend.
  • Cool, gentle extraction through pump-overs and a few light, targeted pigeages.
  • Individual cuvaisons lasted 14-17 days.
  • Pressed to French oak without settling; bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Aging Style

Seventeen months in French oak barriques, 30% new and 70% neutral. Restrained new oak supports the blend's floral, mineral and red-fruited character without obscuring its vineyard detail.

Wine Profile

Red and black cherries meet wet stone, violet and a bright, sanguine iron note. Baking spices gather through the palate, which remains long, lithe and energized by vibrant acidity.

Key Factors
  • A site-led blend drawn from five distinctive Willamette Valley vineyards.
  • Moderate whole cluster adds lift, spice and structure.
  • Gentle extraction and predominantly neutral oak favor clarity over weight.
