In a warm, dry year, the site's elevation, exposure and moisture retention helped preserve slow ripening and balance. Audeant describes 2023 as its favorite expression of Luminous Hills to date.

Audeant's 2023 release notes emphasize sparing intervention and site expression, but do not publish the vintage's exact whole-cluster percentage, fermentation regimen, barrel duration or new-oak percentage.

Bright acidity and barely gripping, stony tannin frame deep red fruit. Cherry and sage meet near-tropical florals and a velvet texture, producing a Pinot Noir of unusual purity, lift and projected longevity.
