The old vines developed flavor and sugar slowly through the warm, dry season. Deep roots and low yields helped produce a wine that Audeant describes as rewarding patience and its favorite Nysa vintage to date.

Audeant's 2023 release notes focus on restrained intervention and the vineyard's character, but do not publish exact whole-cluster, fermentation, barrel-duration or new-oak figures for this vintage.

A wine of contrasts: earthbound yet lifted, ferrous yet floral. Dundee Hills depth is carried by a patient, slow-building structure rather than overt weight, with the old vines bringing quiet intensity and persistence.
