A six-hectare Premier Cru monopole newly integrated into the domaine's range from the 2020 vintage. The large walled site is divided between the Clos des Varoilles monopole bottling and a Vieilles Vignes selection.
The domaine farms biodynamically and uses no synthetic products in the vineyard. Work is directed toward healthy, balanced fruit and an unforced expression of each climat.
Hand-harvested fruit is fermented as whole bunches with indigenous yeasts. The domaine works without synthetic cellar inputs or added sulfites and uses gravity rather than pumps.
The wine is matured in barrel in the same restrained house style used across the range. The producer does not publish a fixed élevage duration or new-oak percentage for this cuvée.
Power and elegance meet an unusual freshness created by the plot's position. The monopole bottling emphasizes the breadth and authority of Gevrey while remaining vivid and lifted.
A six-hectare monopole that joins Gevrey power and elegance with site-driven freshness.
