Ladoix Le Cloud Rouge 2024

A 2.18-hectare red-wine parcel in Ladoix-Serrigny, with vines around 50 years old. The climat, once commonly called 'Le Clou,' has recovered its historic name, Le Cloud, on the domaine's labels.

The domaine farms biodynamically and uses no synthetic products in the vineyard. Work is directed toward healthy, balanced fruit and an unforced expression of each climat.

Hand-harvested fruit is fermented as whole bunches with indigenous yeasts. The domaine works without synthetic cellar inputs or added sulfites and uses gravity rather than pumps.

The wine is matured in barrel in the same restrained house style used across the range. The producer does not publish a fixed élevage duration or new-oak percentage for this cuvée.

Voluptuous, fruity and joyful in youth, with enough substance to develop. This is one of the range's most open, easy-drinking expressions without losing the domaine's textural detail.
