A compact 0.69-hectare holding of approximately 65-year-old vines in the southern sector of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Its old vines and clay-inflected identity give a warm, grounded expression of the appellation.
The domaine farms biodynamically and uses no synthetic products in the vineyard. Work is directed toward healthy, balanced fruit and an unforced expression of each climat.
Hand-harvested fruit is fermented as whole bunches with indigenous yeasts. The domaine works without synthetic cellar inputs or added sulfites and uses gravity rather than pumps.
The wine is matured in barrel in the same restrained house style used across the range. The producer does not publish a fixed élevage duration or new-oak percentage for this cuvée.
Rich and warm, with smooth, almost creamy tannins. The wine emphasizes the sensual, earthy side of Nuits-Saint-Georges while preserving the domaine's characteristic freshness.
Old vines shape a warm, earthy Nuits with creamy tannins and uncommon sensuality.
