The 5.21-hectare Clos des Corvées monopole sits at the gateway to Prémeaux. Since 2002, the Vieilles Vignes cuvée has been selected from fully ripe, naturally undersized millerand berries for exceptional concentration.
The domaine farms biodynamically and uses no synthetic products in the vineyard. Work is directed toward healthy, balanced fruit and an unforced expression of each climat.
Hand-harvested fruit is fermented as whole bunches with indigenous yeasts. The domaine works without synthetic cellar inputs or added sulfites and uses gravity rather than pumps.
The wine is matured in barrel in the same restrained house style used across the range. The producer does not publish a fixed élevage duration or new-oak percentage for this cuvée.
Powerful, full-bodied, dense and structured, with a long finish. The tiny, concentrated berries build depth while the climat retains the nobility and line of Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru.
A millerand selection from the five-hectare monopole: dense, noble and built for long development.
