Place & Vines

Pinoterie is created only when uneven ripening causes the ripest Pinot Noir berries to detach naturally from fully mature stems on the sorting table. Those loose berries are gathered across the domaine's top crus into one special cuvée.

Viticulture

The domaine farms biodynamically and uses no synthetic products in the vineyard. Work is directed toward healthy, balanced fruit and an unforced expression of each climat.

Vinification

Unlike the domaine's standard whole-bunch vats, this cuvée uses fully ripe loose berries that detach during sorting. They ferment with indigenous yeasts without synthetic inputs or added sulfites, then are assembled across vats.

Élevage

The wine is matured in barrel in the same restrained house style used across the range. The producer does not publish a fixed élevage duration or new-oak percentage for this cuvée.

Profile

Ripe, voluptuous and joyfully fruit-driven, with a singular cross-section of the domaine's vineyards. The name plays on 'Pinot-tri': a Pinot selection effectively made by the grapes themselves.
