Place & Vines

The village Meursault comes from the lieu-dit Les Pelles. Its approximately 50-year-old vines are rooted in gravelly soil over deeper earth, a combination that supports both generous texture and freshness.

Viticulture

Jobard-Morey follows sustainable practices that protect soil health, biodiversity and natural cycles. The estate preserves old massal-selection material and vinifies each parcel separately rather than blending sites.

Vinification & Aging

The Chardonnay is fermented in oak barrels, then aged for one year with 15% new oak. The restrained proportion of new wood supports texture and aromatic development without masking the Les Pelles origin.

Profile

A classically rounded village Meursault with ripe orchard fruit, gentle nuttiness and a supple mid-palate. The deeper soil brings breadth, while the gravelly surface preserves lift and mineral definition.
