Place & Vines
  • A single parcel in Molsheim, planted in 1972.
  • The vineyard lies at approximately 250 metres in elevation.
  • Marl-limestone soils provide tension, salinity and aromatic precision.
  • The 2024 vintage yielded approximately 30 hectolitres per hectare.
Vinification
  • Harvested manually at the end of September 2024.
  • The grapes were pressed directly for approximately three hours.
  • Natural cold clarification preceded fermentation in 228-litre barrels.
  • No sulfites were added during vinification; additions occurred only after malolactic fermentation and before bottling.
Aging Style

Eleven months on the fine lees followed by six months in tank. Barrel fermentation builds texture and complexity, while extended lees contact and the final tank period refine the structure without sacrificing Riesling's natural freshness.

Wine Profile

Expressive citrus, floral and flint aromas lead into a tense, saline and exceptionally pure palate. The 2024 vintage gives the wine clarity and freshness, with a precise mineral line and beautiful persistence.

Key Factors
  • Old-vine Riesling from a marl-limestone parcel in Molsheim.
  • Barrel fermentation adds texture without diminishing freshness.
  • A seventeen-month élevage develops depth and aromatic precision.
