Vintage

A wet spring and early summer brought mildew pressure. Moderate summer temperatures and warm days with cool nights in late season supported freshness. Harvested October 1, 2023.

Wine Profile

A structured Tuscan blend built from Merlot's breadth, Petit Verdot's intensity and the precision of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Restrained extraction and mixed-vessel aging favor definition over heaviness.

Key Factors
  • Four-variety blend from a small, organically farmed site.
  • Low yield and rigorous parcel/bunch selection.
  • Tonneaux bring shape; breathable concrete restores clarity and integration.
