Rive della Chiesa

Family Prosecco from the slopes of Selva del Montello, since 1963.

In 1963 Giosuè “Nino” Gasparetto and his wife Irma restored the family vineyard on the slopes beside the church of Selva del Montello, north of Treviso — the “rive” that give the estate its name. Their sons Michele, trained in enology at Conegliano, and Luigi began bottling under the family label in 1992; a third generation joined the business in 2021.

The vineyards range from 50 to 350 metres between the Montello and the Asolo hills, planted chiefly to Glera on soils of clay, limestone and iron. Farming is certified under SQNPI, Italy’s national integrated-production scheme for sustainable agriculture, and the whole cycle — from pressing to bottling — takes place at the estate.

Oenoteca imports two wines: the Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut, from the hillside DOCG that includes the family’s commune, and the Prosecco Treviso DOC Brut, 100% Glera from the surrounding province.
